Verona is the city of Love - full of art, historical buildings and places to visit. While spending your holiday in one of our Tuscany Villas you could take a day off to visit this fabulous city less then 3 hours by car or train from Florence. The first thing to visit is, of course, the impressive majestic Arena. It is a really magic place. Here you will be amazed by the strength of this historical theater. If you are lucky enough be there when they do one of the impressive shows, it’s something that you should experience. I couldn’t believe that it was possible to hear the actors singing in such a large place without speakers! The scenery that they build inside the Arena is something that you could never imagine!
The Arena is situated in Piazza Bra.
This square is the a classic tourist square with many fast-food restaurants and gelateria (ice cream parlors), but they are not the best places to have a real Italian dinner. When I was there with my boyfriend, we visited all the most important buildings of Verona. After the Arena, we walked along the center, Via Mazzini, where all the shops and Cafes are; we had a delicious cappuccino with pastry in one of the bakeries on this road. You won’t need a car: you can reach all the interesting points by walking.
